First of all, i want to thank God for the ar he has brought me and my first born baby girl! Happy birthday again dear Daughter Gabriella.
So my baby made one year on 26th last month but we held her party on 25th same month(her Dad’s birthday). Did i say that Gabby was born a day after her dad(my Husban) was born?! Wonderful.
The party was held in called Maisha gardens, they are beautiful gardens with two swimming pools, so the scenery was beautiful. I invited family members and a few close friends. The decor was simple but beautiful and girly. We had a great time, the cake was yummy and big so everyone took home a big portion. The food was beyond delicious, the dj wowed us. Overall it was the best birthday for my daughter and am greatful to God who brought it to pass.
The party ended by 7:30pm and after we went home for an after party in which Gabby’s Aunt and cousins came over to celebrate with her(they did not make it for the day party so they made it a point to attend in the evening).
Check out the photos below.
Last sunday me and my sister plus the kids went to freedom city mall on entebbe road to celebrate her first born Hashim’s birthday. He was making two years old.
We went to the kids park and i must say we were impressed. There is lots of kids activities and my nephew had a great time. This is a good place to go with the family and enjoy your self, its spacious and relaxing. The only thing i was not happy about was the food. Expensive. And they couldn’t allow any outside food(ofcouse how would they make money lol).
We entered around 3:30pm and by the time it was 6pm, we had had enough fun time. Well this was an excuse for me and Gabby to get out of the house and relax.
I wore a blue knee high dress with a zip at the front(this made it easier for me to breast feed in public) and accessorised with african sandals & green hand and finished off the look with my beautiful hat. My sis wore printed leggings and blouse plus sandals…this was look was simple and comfortable to spend a day with the kids.
There is a way getting out of the house makes you refreshed, relaxed and recharged. Do you agree? Which places have you visited lately? Lets chat in the comments below.
Last Friday evening we set off to Masaka to take our little girl Gabriella meet her grand parents(my in Laws). If you have ever been to Masaka you know how far the place is, almost two hours when using public transport…but since it was me,my husband and Gabby, the journey was far from boring.
We reached at around 8pm, all hungry and tired. They welcomed us with open arms and were beyond excited to meet their Grand daughter for the first time.
One of the highlights of our visit was the non stop food we had lol, they couldn’t let our jaws to rest even a second…there was a variety of food and all in plenty. I ate till i passed out, literally the food was alot, thanks to the Grand ma kitchen skills. The hospitality was beyond our expectation.
Gabby also had achance to meet the siblings to his Grand pa, who were so much fun to hang out with. Not forgetting little Jennipher, (a 3 year old) grand ma’s Niece, she was alot of fun, made Gabriella so happy.
Happy Tuesday Lovelies!
On October 23rd,we went to church to have our lovely two months old daughter for Christening or as many know it as Dedication. This is where a baby is dedicated before God to grow up in a Godly manner. Since she is still young we do dedication instead of Baptism. So when she grows up and understands thats when Baptism is carried out knowing why she is baptised.
It was such an honor to have her christened by our senior Pastor in our Abu dhabi church in the presence of God and church members as witnesses.
Gabby was dolled up in a pretty floral dress, head ribbon, pants and white pants…she slayed indeed. Me and hubby went smart casual and i wore my floral jumpsuit and white blazer and sealed off the look with strappy heels…just a perfect look for an evening service..i did not want to be too formal & too casual so the blazer & heels helped me achieve this look. My husband wore a black long sleeved shirt, brown pants and casual shoes…he looked handsome as always.
Gabriella was very peaceful during the whole ceremony and oh my she made new friends as well. Our fellow church members who had not seen her since she was born went speechless at how beautiful and amazing out little girl was.
Below am sharing with you the photos of the ceremony
