Hello lovelies hope all is well with you…well back at me am so happy that we finally got a studio apartment that we have been searching for since we returned from vacation. If you watch my YouTube channel you know about this already). This is going to be our first official home as Hubby and wife Yay.
Shifting and organizing has been such a daunting and tiresome process and up to now our studio is still disorganized as we yet to buy furniture plus lack of time(this is because we all do morning ours and later we go to church for evening services-God first in our small Family.) to stay home and organise.
Since there is no church these three days we hope to go straight home from work to start organizing our place…so wish us luck guys.
I believe we all have those types of friends we don’t normally talk to due to distance but whenever you meet again it’s like nothing has changed and they are the type of friends you will count on to be there fore you through it all…for me it is this friend of mine called Gracey.
Gracey and I have been friends since University and when I came here abroad we stopped communicating but our friendship did not end. when I went back to Uganda for my vacation we resumed from where we had stopped and she was very supportive manually towards my wedding preparations. Despite me being a bridezella, Grace was such an amazing matron very patient and understanding. Thank you Grace.
We all need friends who can be there for us through it all, it may not be financially but also psychologically. We are all not perfect but if the friendship is worth saving then go ahead and make that call to that long time friend you miss now.
About the outfits, I wore a mustard oversized arms top with my leopard print pants and beaded sandles while Gracey wore dark blue skinny jeans and a pink top…
we had gone to the salon for retouch and also to do my weding makeup trial(as you can see am all glammed up) then later we went to book for the hotel room nearby where the brides maids would sleep the night before the wedding.
Afterwards we went home dressed up and attended her niece’s graduation which was a success…the food was amazing.
These are such relaxed looks which you can wear on a weekend for the girls day out for coffee, movie night or shopping.
Do you have such a friend you take long without seeing but when you get in touch it feels like you were never apart? How many friends can you count on when you need them? Let me know in the comments section below.
Have you ever tried to do everything right but you end up making mistakes? This week at work i have been trying to do my job well but still ended up making repeated mistakes to the extent that i felt so disapointed in me.
My boss is on vacation and the last thing i want is for her to come back and get a bad report on me. Unfortunately the incharge is a frenemy plus other staff who also rejoice in my downfall.
I feel so hurt that some workmates will be happy to see you going down. Whatever tiny mistake you make they elevate it & keep record of it.
We all make mistakes and they also do make mistakes but i don’t go around reporting everyone well because i do understand that we all human….
Sometimes i feel like finding another job and leave this place but then it is not that easy to find one. Besides i know there will never be a perfect job, sometimes you just have to stay strong and know what you want at the end of the day.
They do not acknowledge the great work you do but instead highlight and make a big deal of the small mistakes you make.
Life gets worse when you have frenemies for workmates who will be happy to see you go down the trench.
But it’s all good, i know everything happens for a reason, i know God wants to make me into a strong woman..he is preparing me for a bigger challenge.
For there is no weapon fashioned against me shall prosper(Isaiah 54:17).
Am now worried that my boss is going to be disapointed in me(obviously they will report me) yet if the incharge was my friend things would be different. But it come to an end eventually for fear is not my portion.
Has anyone been in the same boat before? Having co workers who rejoice in your down fall and they make sure that everyone including your boss gets to know about it? In general do you have frenemies or enemies at work or school? How do you cope? let me know in comments section below.

Hey guys thought to share with you some of the brides maid photos though still waiting for official photos to be out. These were taken by the bridesmaids themselves and our guests.
Oh by the way, this is going to be another segment on the blog where i will sharing my crushes in terms of fashion, lifestyle & inspiration.
This wednesday am crushing on our Brides maids entrouge. These girls were there through it all, from spending long hours window shopping to staying in the salon till late…i mean they were so patient and understanding.
Reaching to the wedding day, they never disapointed us as they smiled all the way to the end of reception. Don’t know how much to repay them but all i ask is for God to bless them and to give them all the desires of their hearts.
Their dresses were the epitome of elegance & class…the first time i set my eyes on these tulle & silver stone embroidery long soft pink dresses, i fell in love and knew my search was over…they looked so heavenly in them.
At the reception they changed into a black glittery knee high dress with red platform suedes and boy oh boy they slayed… i mean what can’t you see? All the two dresses both church & reception were screaming style & sophistication.
The hair was everything thanks to a great celebrity hair stylist who worked on us. The glamourous makeup was so on point…oh how beautiful they looked.
Looking forward to the official photos that i will be sharing with you more.
Hey lovelies, how are you doing? Hope your all doing great…..i know i knoow its been some good time(Almost 2 months i guess) since i last wrote a blog post but i have strong reasons for my Absence just scroll down and find out.
By the way did i say that i missed you guys? yes i did…so much.
Ok so on 18/Sep/2016 i went back home for my vacation and mainly to prepare for my official tradition engament ceremony and white wedding. Having two functions all in the same month was so stressfull and tiring but memorable as well…i was always in the city centre almost everyday running errands along with my matron and sister that our legs hurt so bad.
From bridal shopping to meeting various vendors, trust me i couldn’t find time to even read any of your beautiful posts. So with the help of my Family and friends and God above all, our Engagement Ceremony took place on 22/Oct/2016 which was a success…had the best of time when my husband came home with his relatives to take me officially…i couldn’t believe my eyes lol.
Then we had our white wedding on 29/Oct/2016 and believe me you this was the sweetest day of my life…had alot of fun with friends and family but most of all exchanging vows with my wonderful husband was everything.
Think i have answered your question. I have shared a few photos of my engagement & white wedding(Asked my photographer to edit for me some) hope to share with you more photos of each function in details when they are out.
There you have it…Am officially a married woman “Mrs. Angella Mutekanga” yay Glory to God. Ebenezer.
Good to be back!!!!
“Move out of your comfort zone…you can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new”
“I’m not telling you it’s going to be easy, i’m telling you it’s going to be worth it.”
As the year 2016 began, one of my resolutions was to get out of my comfort zone and do something spontaneously like going out whether i have company or not. This came to pass this saturday when i decided to go to the beach for swimming. I can’t believe the two & something years i have been here, i have never swam!! so this time i had to do it before i go back to uganda.
I always stare at the beach while in the bus to work but always felt reluctant to go swimming because i have no one else willing to join me(different work schedules & distance).
The last time i went to the beach i just did a youtube vlog of the whole beach but did not literally swim. By the way i used to swim while back home in Uganda and it really helped me to stay in shape. When i came here in 2014, crazy work schedules got in my way meeh..
So when i reached at the beach, i realised that i wasn’t the only one who came swimming solo(this gave me boldness & hope). There were various ladies who also came alone & they didn’t give a damn what others had to think of them.
Among the ladies, was this Russian(Mondovian) girl called Natalie with whom we clicked & the rest was history. We had a great time with each other, she even told me about another beach that i didn’t know and we went there too on the same day(was 10 minutes drive from where we were)!!…the day was full of laughters & getting to know each other. Next thing i know, we are exchanging whatsup numbers. Let me just say, i made a new swimming buddy…yay.
Not all the time i have gone out i have been lucky to have good company, often times i end up regretting why i even went out of the house in the first place but still i had faith and Saturday gave me so much hope.
About my outfit, i wore pink leggings, wide armed blouse with beaded sandles and summer hat & sealed off the look with my beach bag. As we all know beach and summer time means bright colors…this outfit gave me life not forgeting this beautiful ocean that drove my stress away.
Do you ever go out/hang out alone? Any experiences or tips you would like to share? let me know in the comments section below.
Hello lovelies, how are you all doing? Hope your awesome. Well am counting down seven days to get on the plane back home for vacation for my wedding preparations…it is going to be a challenging time while running up & down to get things done but again it will be worth the wait.
Planning my wedding while away from my home country has been stressful, tiring & draining but in everything i thank God because am coming out a strong woman. I have learnt to trust in God completely by casting all my cares to him.
Today i wore a pink pencil skirt, chifon sleeveless blouse and accessorised with a blue statement necklace, light blue hand bag & sandals. I loved rocking this look…the outfit was girly & colorful. I decided to dress it down with sandles to create a feel of comfort & simplicity.
Hello lovelies Happy new month!
I believe y’all looking forward to achieving your goals this month…stay focused and never give up. Am happy that my Social media sites are growing day by day-as long as you do what you love, the sky is the limit.
Since this is a new month i just have a word of encouragement for you guyz it entails forgiving your self of all the wrongs/mistakes you have done in the past. Have you ever made a mistake/ wrong or committed a sin and afterwards you loose peace, get restless, worried, regretful, depressed, self hate & sometimes shade a few tears? Yes i thought so. I have been there several times honestly.
“Love your self, accept yourself, forgive yourself and be good to yourself”
“Forgive yourself for the wrong choices that you made in the past. They’re not evidence of who you are, but evidence of who you were.”
“Forget your past, forgive your self, and begin again right now.”
Stop punishing yourself and know that our God is God of second chances, he understands us more than anyone…he knows us better than we even know our selves. So whenever we do something wrong instead of feeling disapointed in ourselves lets go down to our knees and request for God to forgive us and to give us a spirit of self control.
The Bible say;
Isaiah 1:18 “come now, let us settle the matter, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they s be like wool.” Says the Lord.
2 chronicles 7:14 “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then i will hear from heaven, and i will forgive their sin and will heal their land” Declares the Lord.
Have you ever been given a task at work and you failed to deliver(especially when you belive that your promotion is around the corner) that your boss gets disappointed in you? Most of us what we do is feeling pity for ourselves, feeling like failures(good for nothing)- but trust me nothing happens without God’s knowledge..such situations happen to challenge us to get better & stronger, Like the saying goes, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger …lets learn from our mistakes instead of letting them get the best of us.
Whenever you perform below expectations, pick up the pieces and move on,work harder to show your progress to your superior. We are not defined by how many times we fall but by how many times we rise up…dont get soaked in the mad, get up & wear your crown like the boss you are.
“There is no sense in punishing your future for the mistakes of your past. Forgive your self, grow from it , and then let go.”
“Its not how we make mistake, but how we correct them that defines us.”
“Its ok to make mistakes. If people can’t accept that, they don’t deserve to be around you.”
Todays outfit is an all white denim pants & white tee with a checkered hooder swag tied in the waist. This was such a clean look that i loved rocking in this summer. The checkered hoodie gave it an edgy & swagged up look and the strappy heels & pearl necklace brought in a classy & sophisticated dressed up vibe. This is such a cool trend that you should incorporate in your wardrobe because it a neutral look for all seasons
Style tip; When styling All white outfit, play around with saturation for example if the blouse is snow white, let the rouser be off white and the blazer can be ivory and heelss egg shell white. Don’t make the whole look to be snow white only play with different shades of white to bring out that sophisticated vibe.
Any lessons learnt from today’s topic of “Forgive your self?” what do you think of my outfit for today. Lets chat in the comments section below.
